during the manufacturing stage,

The electrical power generated during the spray-drying process which is
sold to the electricity grid.
Module A1 includes the environmental impacts
caused by burning natural gas during the spray-drying process, thermal
energy used for spray-drying, and the electricity generated from
cogeneration.
Part of this electricity is used in the spray-drying facilities
and tile manufacture, and part is sold to the electricity grid.
The
environmental benefits produced by the displaced energy are quantified in
Module D.

the product, but does not include its phases of construction, use and end of life.

data
has
been
used
from
the
plant
in
Castellón
for
the
year
2012
to
inventory the manufacturing phase.
